Sweet Gingerbread Holder
Hello, friends!! I hope you’re all doing well!! Brenda here with a sweet and festive Christmas card featuring several new sets from the holiday collection. This release is full of so many great Christmas sets! I’m still working my way through them all!

I started by stenciling the Layered Gingerbread stencil set onto tan cardstock with brown, red, green and black dye ink and white pigment ink. Once the ink was dry, the panel was die-cut with the largest die in the Stitched Torn Rectangles die set. It was then adhered to an A2 panel of red cardstock.

The Gingerbread Holder Dies were cut from brown, red, black and white cardstock. The candy cane and tree are from the Christmas Holder Additions Die Set. They were cut from red, white and green cardstock. I added a bit of shading to the die-cuts with dye inks and blending brushes, then arranged and adhered them all together with liquid glue. The second largest die in the Stitched Torn Rectangles die set was cut from vellum. The gingerbread man was adhered to the vellum with liquid glue, then the vellum was adhered to the background, adding adhesive only behind the die-cuts.

The sentiment is from the Gingerbread Friends stamp set. It was stamped onto black cardstock with Versamark ink, sprinkled with white embossing powder, then melted with a heat tool. The coordinating die was used to cut it out and it was popped up with foam tape. A few details were added to finish off the card…a white gel pen was used to add highlights, white Liquid Pearls was added to the “frosting” and a pom pom was adhered to the gingerbread man’s hat. It’s all in the details, right?

I love the rich, saturated colors on this sweet holiday card!
Thank you so much for stopping by! Have a wonderful day!
