Hi Friends! Emily Mydlowski here with you today sharing two Sweet Christmas cards using the Gingerbread Holder, Gingerbread Shaker and Christmas Holder Additions.

I started by die-cutting all the Gingerbread Holder & Shaker pieces with white cardstock and used ink blending brushes with a combination of brown die inks to get perfectly baked gingerbread with a few slightly burnt edges—because honestly that is how they always turn out at my house.

Keeping with the freshly baked theme, I wanted it to look like the gingerbread were coming right out of the oven. I added a vellum Stitched Torn Rectangle that looks like parchment paper and silver glitter cardstock as a sheet pan for the Gingerbread Shaker.
For the shaker, I used the Gingerbread Shaker Mix and the Holiday Gingerbread Mix for the candy swirl buttons.

I love that the Christmas Holder Additions are sized to work perfectly with both the Gingerbread Holder and Gingerbread Shaker. For extra sparkle and shine I used glitter & foil cardstock for all the Gingerbread accessories (candy canes, wreath, bow tie & Santa hats).

To complete the cards, I used the Candy Stripes Stencil to create the Red & White Peppermint border & stacked frames for each of the cards and added sentiments from the Gingerbread Friends Stamp Set & the Christmas Banner Greetings Stamp & Banner 1 Dies.
