Hi friends! It’s Emily here with you today sharing my first blog post as a Design Team Member using the A-D-O-R-A-B-L-E Fox Holder Die Set and the Valentine Holder Additions Die Set.
To create the adorable valentine fox, I die-cut the fox pieces from white cardstock and colored the pieces using blending brushes and an assortment of orange inks for the body and a soft gray ink for the face, ears, belly & tip of the tail. I cut the eyes, nose and mouth from black cardstock and used liquid adhesive to assemble the fox. What a cutie! And it gets even cuter when you add one of the many options from the Valentine Holder Additions Die Set. I went with a pink heart-shaped box of chocolates wrapped with a bow and a Flamingo Pink Jewel.
For the background, I started with a pink cardstock panel and used the heart layer from the Layered Heart Sprinkles Stencil to add the tiny pink hearts. To create the lace-like bottom of the card, I adhered a short white panel with three die-cut Doily Borders.
To finish the card, I used foam tape to adhere the fox to the decorated background panel and added a pink and white embossed “Happy Valentine’s Day” sentiment from the Valentine Greetings Stamp Set.
So there we are friends, a loveable-huggable fox card for your favorite Valentine.
