Thankful Fall Greetings

Hi friends! Christina here to share a cozy autumn scene card featuring the new Fall Harvest stamp set and the coordinating dies. I combined this set with some goodies from the latest release, and to really play up the fall vibes, I used kraft cardstock and chose a beautiful autumn color palette. Follow along as I walk you through the steps to creating this adorable seasonal project!

I started by stenciling the background with the Layered Birch Trees Stencils on kraft cardstock using white pigment ink for the first layer and dark brown ink for the second detail layer. Then, I die cut the stenciled panel with the largest Scallop Frames Die. I also die cut two additional scallop frames to stack with the original frame and attached everything to a kraft cardstock panel trimmed to 4 ¼  x 5 ¼ “ .

My next step was to stamp images from the Fall Harvest stamp set, the Fall Icons stamp set and Halloween Icons stamp set, and the ghost from the Halloween Corners stamp set with black ink on white cardstock. I used alcohol ink markers to color the images before die cutting with the coordinating dies. I used a combination of liquid adhesive and foam squares to attach them to my background and then added white gel pen highlights to some of the images.

My last step was to stamp the Thankful sentiment from the Fall Harvest Stamp set with dark brown ink. Then I die cut it using the coordinating die and layered it with a couple of blank die cuts before attaching it to my card. Lastly, I added white heat embossed sub sentiments from the same set as well as one from the Sentiment Strips:Fall Stamp Set, both die cut with the Sentiment Strips Dies

That completes this super cozy autumn scene card featuring the new Fall Harvest stamp set. Check out the new release over in the shop for all your fall crafting supplies. See you again soon!

  2. A cute card and I really like the white trees in the background. The little ghosts seem to be having a fun Fall day, especially when the butterfly joined in. Great colors of Fall and I like all the pieces and parts. Thank you for sharing your creativity.
