Video: Easy Fall Icons Card

Hi, friends! It’s Lauren and I am back with a new video on the Pretty Pink Posh YouTube channel today. I wanted to share a simple but cute card for the upcoming Thanksgiving holiday using the Fall Icons Stamp Set and Coordinating Dies!

I started with stenciling my background using the Layered Leaf Lattice Stencils with brown ink with the (A) stencil and red ink with the (B) stencil on white cardstock that measures 3.5 x 4.75”. This panel was adhered to a piece of kraft cardstock trimmed to 4 x 5.25”, then onto an A2 card base.

The six Fall Icons were stamped with my stamping platform first in a brown alcohol marker friendly ink and I colored them with alcohol markers. You can watch the YouTube video on the Pretty Pink Posh Channel if you want to see a close up of the coloring and the complete process of making the card. After I was done coloring, I put the paper back into the stamping platform and stamped the images again with a darker brown ink that is not alcohol marker friendly to create darker lines around the images.

I cut all of the images with the smaller circle in the Fall Icons Coordinating Die Set as well as six scalloped circles out of kraft cardstock. I layered the circles with adhesive and added foam adhesive to the back. I then added them to the card!

You can step up this card by adding a sentiment or minimizing the spacing to add more icons. I hope this brings you some inspiration today and you’re excited to head into Fall like I am!
