Get Well Mug

Hi there, it’s Leica here. I’m so excited to share with you a get well card I recently made using the Get Well Mug Additions Dies. These dies are seriously amazing! They allow you to create custom cards that are perfect for cheering up friends and family who may be feeling a bit under the weather.

To start my card, I used the Winter Mug Dies to cut out the main mug shape from some patterned paper that I’ve been holding onto for a while. It had a really cute gingham pattern that I knew would make a cozy mug. Then, I cut out a 4.25 inch square of patterned paper with dots and matted it onto some light pink cardstock to create a soft background.

Next came the fun part: using the Get Well Mug Additions Dies to cut out all sorts of different elements in different colors of cardstock. I had so much fun playing around with the different colors and patterns! I glued the dies onto the card panel, and even used some foam tape to add some dimension to certain images.

To add some extra flair, I embellished the card with some little pearls in Ruby Red. I always like to add little details like that to make my cards feel a bit more special.

Finally, I glued the card panel onto a 4.5 inch square card base, creating a sturdy and durable card that’s ready to be sent off to its recipient.

That’s all for my card. It was a lot of fun to experiment with different colors and patterns, and the Pretty Pink Posh dies really allowed me to create a personalized and unique design.
