Spring Carrots

Hello hello! It’s Leica here with a fun Spring-themed shaker card, featuring the Layered Carrots Stencils. There are 3 different layers of stencils included in this pack and they create the cutest carrot background for a Spring card. 

I started by inkling the A Layer with Dried Marigold Distress Oxide Ink on an A2-sized white card base. Next, I used Spiced Marmalade for Layer B, and finally, Twisted Citron for Layer C. I then sprayed some Spun Sugar Distress Oxide Spray onto a white cardstock that’s a bit larger than A2 and cut the frame from the Fancy Cake Die. I then glued on a sheet of acetate on the back of the frame and added foam tape around the frame to create a well for my shaker card. I filled the card with Easter Garden Mix. And lastly, I cut the Happy Spring Shadow Dies from white cardstock and cut the shadow from the same cardstock that I sprayed with Spun Sugar Distress Oxide Spray. I glued the sentiment on the center of the card and that finishes my card.

I love love love these Layered Carrots Stencils. It’s easy to make a patterned paper look with these stencils and only 3 inks are needed.
