Autumn Acorn Shaker

Hi crafty friends! It’s Dana here today and I am back with a fun shaker card that uses the Acorn Shaker die. This die set includes three pieces that build an adorable acorn that can be filled with your favorite mixes of confetti or beads.

I started my card by creating my card panel with the Gingham stencil. This is the perfect background for all of your fall cards! I used the Acorn Shaker die to die cut my opening in the center of the panel. I backed the opening with acetate and added foam adhesive around the edges to create my shaker. I then cut the acorn pieces from fall cardstock colors and inlaid them back into the opening (directly onto the acetate). I filled the shaker with the Woodland Wishes shaker beads and used a piece of cream cardstock to close my shaker. Next, I added a few leaves that I die cut with the Stitched Leaves dies. I then stamped my sentiment with the Happy Fall set and die cut it with the coordinating dies. Lastly, I added some twine to a button and attached it to my card panel to finish my card.
