Turkey Fall Blessings

Hello Crafty Friends! Catherine here, and today I’m sharing a playful fall card featuring the Turkey Friends, Acorn Shaker, and Windowpane Plaid Stencil from Pretty Pink Posh’s latest release. The Turkey Friends set is adorable and perfect for all kinds of fall crafting!

To begin, I created a soft plaid background on an A2-sized piece of white cardstock using the Windowpane Plaid Stencil. I lightly ink blended Salvaged Patina, Mowed Lawn, and Dried Marigold Distress Oxides. for a fun mix of all colors. 

Next, I die cut a turquoise frame using the largest rectangle from the Pinking Rectangles die set. I used a rectangle die from my stash to die cut the center opening, then layered the frame over a piece of vellum before adhering it to the plaid background.

For the shaker, I die cut the pieces for the Acorn Shaker, including the base, frame, foam layer, and acetate window. I ink blended the acorn frame with Antique Linen and Scattered Straw Distress Oxide Inks and blended the base with Scattered Straw. I adhered the acetate behind the frame, added the foam layer, and filled the center with the Fall Fling Mix before sealing everything together. 

I added some fall leaves from the Fall Holder Additions ink blended then with Candied Apple and Bundled Sage Distress Oxides. I tucked the leaves around the acorn and tied a bit of twine on top.

Next, I stamped and die cut the turkeys from Turkey Friends and colored them with Copic Markers listed below. Once everything was colored, I arranged and adhered the turkeys and acorn shaker onto the card front. For the sentiment, I stamped “Fall” in maroon and paired it with a white heat embossed “Blessings” from the Happy Fall set.
