Halloween Greetings Wreath
Hi friends! Sophie here and today I am sharing details on how I made a not-so-spooky Halloween card featuring new August release goodies. Let’s dive in!
For this card I actually worked from the background up. I first cut a panel of kraft cardstock out of the older Argyle Pierced Cover Plate. Then, I trimmed it ever so slightly by about an 1/8th of an inch on all sides so that there would be a delicate mat around the edge of the card. It’s hard to see in the photo but in person this actually creates a great layer of dimension!
Then, I worked on the wreath. I love this new Halloween Wreath Builder die set. You could use it for spooky cards but it would also actually be great to create just a fall themed wreath with, too! I finished this simple card off with one of the greetings from the Boo Greetings set and then sprinkled a few Sparkling Clear Confetti on the card and called it done! This one came together quick thanks to these innovative dies but it’s actually one of my favorites that I made from this release.

Such a pretty Fall card. I like the kraft cardstock as the background on the cover plate and how the green wreath pops against it. The color choice for the sentiment goes nicely and that confetti makes finishes it off nicely!
Great card. I think I would have used Autumn Greetings as the sentiment. I appreciate a non-creepy Halloween card, tough. Very pretty.
