Springtime Watering Can

Hello Everyone! It is Zsofi here today with a sweet “thinking of you” card. On gloomy days I really enjoy colouring, it cheers me up and calms my mind. I love to combine different stamp sets, let me show you how I made this adorable floral card which is perfect for any occasion.

First I stamped a lovely bouquet and a bunch of bees from the Flower Bouquets and Bee Friends stamp sets. I used Copic markers to add colour, but you can use coloured pencils or even watercolours if you wish. I used the coordinating dies to cut them all out.

While I was die cutting, I also cut the largest of the Scallop Flag tags dies from blue cardstock. I adhered the watering can on the middle and glued all the little bees around it – and one in the middle of the can. I wrapped a piece of blue twine around the top, it adds a little bit of extra to the whole design.

I cut a 2 by 5.5 inches strip from yellow cardstock and stamped a large handwritten sentiment on the bottom from the Bee Friends stamp set and a little stitched heart under it. I love this font so much!

I chose a cute bee themed patterned paper from Doodlebug designs for the background, adhered the sentiment strip in the middle and popped up the focal panel using 3D foam squares. As a finishing touch I added Stickles to the flower centres and the wings of the bees. It is so sparkly in real life!

I hope you like this idea and got inspired to mix and match your stamps. I cannot wait to see your cards, make sure to share them in our Facebook group

Thanks for stopping by and hope to see you soon,

Zsofi
