Spring Chick Shaker + Video

This Chick Shaker card was super fun and easy to make and I’ve got a video to show the process.  I hope you’ll enjoy watching!

Pastel Dreams Shaker Beads

I filled my Chick Shaker with the Pastel Dreams Shaker Beads and adhered him over a background that is ink-blended with blue ink.  The rain texture is created with the Raindrops Stencil and Distress Twinkle Texture Paste.

I decided to use vellum for my umbrella from the Springtime Holder Additions Dies. To elongate the umbrella arm, I partial die-cut to add length.  The vellum just makes it whimsy, don’t you think?  If you want to add color to the vellum, I recommend using alcohol markers on the backside of the vellum.  I left it as is.

I also added clouds using the new Stitched Clouds dies. To finish, I used a sentiment from the Easter Banner Greetings Stamps and stamped over a banner from the Banner Greetings 3 Dies.
