Vibrant XOXO
Hello crafty friends, Marine here, how exciting it is to be back with this shaker card showcasing items from the January 2026 release, including the amazing Xoxo Shaker die. I love shaker cards, they’re just so easy to put together, and they’re even funnier to build when Pretty Pink Posh has such an amazing shaker dies collection and the most beautiful shaker accessories ever. Speaking of which, the Love Is Kind shaker beads color palette is my favorite when it comes to Valentine cards, so I was very excited to create this Xoxo Shaker card.

I started off by cutting a 5,5 x 4,25 inches panel out of aqua cardstock and added a cute pattern to it using the Layered Heart Lattice stencils along with distress inks: candied apple for the hearts and peacock feathers for the stitched details. I mixed copic opaque white ink with water and added splatters to my panel, and then did the same with peacock feathers distress ink. Next I cut another panel out of turquoise cardstock using the largest Pinking Rectangle die, added a word pattern to it using the Love Words stencil along with peacock feathers distress ink, mixed liquid stardust droplets with water, added sparkling splatters to my panel and then white splatters as well. Once dry, I attached my Pinking Rectangle panel to the Layered Heart Lattice panel using 1mm foam squares, and then stuck the whole thing to a matching card base.

Next I worked on my Xoxo Shaker following those steps:
1. I cut an Xoxo Shaker frame out of red cardstock using both dies from the set,
2. I cut a whole Xoxo Shaker panel out of acetate and stuck it at the back of the red frame using liquid glue,
3. Still at the back of the frame, I attached foam strips all around it, following the curves,
4. I poured Love Is Kind shaker beads and Sweet Xoxo confetti inside each letter,
5. I cut another whole Xoxo Shaker panel out of pink cardstock, added white splatters to it, and once dry, attached it to the foam strips to close my shaker.

I cut a large Eyelet Circle out of pearlescent vellum, attached my Xoxo Shaker to it using 1mm foam squares, and then attached the vellum circle to my card using foam squares again. As an extra greeting, I white heat embossed “You’re a sweetheart” from Valentine Banner Greetings on aqua cardstock, cut it into a wavy banner using a Banner Greetings 2 die, and attached that banner on my Xoxo Shaker using a bit of liquid glue behind the fishtail ends.
And that’s it! I hope that this shaker card has inspired you to maybe recreate it or create your own with a different color palette. Thanks so much for stopping by, and see you next time!
