Spooky Spider Friends
Hello, my friendly spooks! Justin here, and I am so excited to be sharing an adorably scary creation using the brand new August Release! For today’s post, I am featuring (2) brand new stamp sets: Spider Friends and Halloween Words Scenes! Both of these stamp sets are just way too fun to color-up and get onto your project.
Let’s get into the details!

Spider Friends Stamp Set
Spider Friends Coordinating Die Set
Halloween Words Scenes Stamp Set
Halloween Words Scenes Coordinating Die Set
Crackle Background Stencil
Halloween Friends Clay Confetti
For this card, I started by coloring up my Spider Friends images, and the “SPOOKY” sentiment from the Halloween Word Scenes Die Set with my Olo Markers. I just LOVE how these little spiders are wearing their own Halloween costumes! I am pretty sure the mummy spider is my favorite! I also used the coordinating dies to cut each of the images out.

For my background, I took a 4” x 5.25” piece of gray cardstock, placed the Crackle Background Stencil over top, and blended it with Black Widow Stellar Ink by Simon Hurley Create. Then, with the stencil still over my background, I sprayed Royal Flush Solar Spray over my panel. By leaving the stencil on, the Solar Spray only was applied to the open stencil areas, and not the full background! Once the stencil was removed, I splattered White Opaque Paper Splatter onto the background as well.
Once my background was dry, I adhered it to a 4.125” x 5.375” panel of lime green cardstock, and then that entire unit to a 4.25” x 5.5” panel of orange cardstock.

Using foam tape, I adhered my 3 spiders and sentiment to my card. The foam tape allows them to have a little bit of pop! I also took some embellishments from the Halloween Friends Clay Confetti and adhered it to my card front as well.
I adhered my entire panel to an A2-size card base, and my project was completed!

I hope this project provided you with some fun ideas on how to mix and match some of the brand new August Halloween Release stamp sets together to create something frightfully amazing!
Thank you so much for stopping by, and happy crafting!
Justin
