Cheerful Hello Friend

It’s finally spring with lush green grass and colorful blooms. Emily Mydlowski here with you today sharing a bright and cheerful Hello Friend card using the Spring Floral Dies, Friend Greetings Stamp Set and Grass Border Die. 

To get started, I cut all the daffodils and tulips in white cardstock and colored each stem and flower using a blending brushes & sponge daubers with a selection pink, yellow, orange and green dye inks. Then I adhered all the stems and florals together using liquid adhesive. 

I used the grass border die to cut the top half of a green cardstock A4 panel. I stamped the “Hello Friend” sentiment with VersaMark ink and heat embossed with white embossing powder. I love all the sentiments in the Friends Greetings Stamp set. The greetings are beautiful and sweet and perfect for everyday occasions and sending a sweet hello to a special friend. 

I adhered the grass panel to a white card base making sure I only applied glue to the bottom half of the grass panel so I could place the daffodils and tulips into the grass.
