Festive Party Straws
Hello, crafty friends! Arsenia here, and today I’m excited to share a fun and easy way to create festive party straws using the new Party Flag Dies! I was thrilled when I received these dies, as I absolutely love making party straws. They’re the perfect addition to presents, gift bags, candy bags, treat bags, cups, and so much more! Let’s dive into the creative process!

The Party Flag Dies make assembling party straws a breeze. I started by cutting out all the die-cut images from white cardstock. Then, I inked the smaller images with a variety of dye inks for a pop of color. For one of the flags, I used a circle die from the Party Hat Shaker Dies and Cake Slice Shaker Dies to create a playful polka dot background. For the second flag, I repurposed a leftover piece from the Party Hat Shaker Dies—the inside of the party hat—creating a unique design.

The Party word die from the Party Flag Dies is perfect for adding a cheerful touch to the flags. To give the straws an extra whimsical flair, I used a medium-sized bow from the Beautiful Bows Dies. I layered four pieces for the top of the bow and two for the tail, adding dimension and a fun, playful look.

To finish off these party straws, I sprinkled on some Sparkling Clear Sequins and Iridescent Mini Stars Confetti, then added some white gel pen highlights for extra shine. Ta-da! The flags were finished—or so I thought…

But, wait—I had one more idea! I decided to create another adorable party straw using the Party Hat Shaker Dies. For this one, I used a circle die from the Cake Slice Shaker Dies to add some playful polka dots to the hat. I also pulled in a die from last year’s release called the Interactive Cake Dies to decorate the bottom of the hat. After adhering it to a straw, voila—the party straw was complete!

I absolutely love how these party straws turned out, and I’m already looking forward to making more for upcoming holidays and special occasions. The Party Flag Dies are a must-have for any celebration or party-themed project.
Thank you so much for stopping by, and happy crafting!
