Pastel Fall Leaves

Hello, Gemma here today to share a fall themed thank you card.

I began by die cutting the new Fall Leaves BorderI cut the full border from white card, then the individual leaves from different colours of cardstock. I then adhered these leaves over the top of the full border.

Next, I worked on the sentiment. I die cut the thanks word and shadow from the new Many Thanks Shadow die. The shadow is cut from navy card, and the scripty work on top is die cut from gold glitter card. I then adhered the pieces tougher with liquid glue.

For an additional sentiment, I partially stamped a greeting from the Sentiment Strips: Fall stamp set, heat embossing it in white on navy card. I used a Sentiment Strips die to cut it out.

I used an older stencil set Layered Argyle to add some detail directly to an A2 card base. I picked some pink distress oxides to blend each stencil layer – spun sugar, kitsch flamingo, and picked raspberry.

On the top section of my card base, I adhered a panel of navy card, then added the fall leaves border between that and the stenciled background. I then adhered the sentiments at the to finish.

I hope you enjoyed this fall card. Thanks for stopping by!
