Happy Fall Turkey

Hello crafty friends, Arsenia here today to share some turkey love!  I mean how stinking cute is this turkey, perfect for fall! Let’s get started!

First, I pulled out an array of orange and brown cardstock to do some die cutting with the super cute new Stitched Turkey dies. I adhered the pieces of the turkey but for the face I decided to cut out a yellow triangle for the nose and added some googley eyes. To finish the turkey I added a bit of splatter towards the bottom of the turkey body.   I set the adorable turkey aside and now it was time to work on the background.

For my background I decided to use one of new fall stencils called Layered Leaf Lattice. It’s a beautiful stencil set and gives your background some fall goodness.  I used orange die inks to stencil, I added some splatter to the top left corner and bottom right.  I cut the stenciled background down to 5 x 3 3/4 inches.  For a pop of color I adhered the stencil panel to the same cardstock I used for the turkey.  I adhered the Turkey to panel and now it was time to work on the sentiment.

For the sentiments I used the Sentiment Strips: Fall stamp set.  I heat embossed them with brown embossing powder onto white cardstock.  I die cut the long sentiment with the Sentiment Strips Dies and flagged the ends.  For the smaller sentiment I wanted the turkey to hold a sign and the Big Valentine Cupcakes dies had the perfect die.  I put the sign together and loved it!  I needed a resting place for the long sentiment and decided to use the new Fall Leaves Border.  I felt like the long sentiment still needed something,  I decided to die cut a strip of orange from the Sentiment Strips dies and I loved the way it turned out.  This card was so much to make, the turkey is so stinking adorable.  Wouldn’t this make the cutest place cards for turkey dinner and/or a great banner across a mantel!?  The possibilities are endless with this cutie, the Stitched Turkey Dies!

Thank you so much for stopping by friends and have a great day!
