Summer Strawberries
Hello, Gemma here today with a summer card to share. I was inspired by the recent Wimbledon tennis coverage in the UK, which goes hand in hand with strawberries.

I began with the Layered Strawberries stencil, blending over each of the 4 layers with distress oxide inks on a piece of 6″ square panel, to build up the lovely strawberries. I then adhered this stencilled panel to a 6″ square card base.

Next, I made some die cut strawberries, using the Fruit Mug Additions set. These are really quick and easy to put together.

For the strawberry pot, I die cut the cake wrapper from the Big Birthday Cupcake set. I also used the ‘celebrate’ banner from the same set. The stick for adding the banner is from the Big Valentine Cupcake set.

To give the strawberries somewhere to sit on the card, I die cut a pearl white Eyelet Circle, adhering in the centre of the card, before adding the pot of strawberries and celebrate banner. I finished by adding a single strawberry sitting at the side of the pot.
I hope this card inspired you to use some of the smaller elements from the cupcake and mug die sets. There are so many great ones packed into those sets!
Such a sweet card! Love the little strawberries 😍
