Christmas Cupcakes in July

Hi friends, Debbie here with a Christmas in July card. This is my first Christmas card for the year and it’s a cute one!

I started off with my panel doing a ombré red ink blending from the bottom up. Then with the Winter Words Stencil I added Distress Grit Paste Opaque. While waiting for the panel to dry, I stamped and Copic colored the images from Christmas Cupcakes with X-Press It smooth white cardstock with Copic friendly ink in the Misti. Once finished I die cut them out with the Christmas Cupcakes coordinating dies.

Next with the second smallest Eyelet Circle Die, die cut out 3 circles from white card stock. Happy Holidays sentiment is from the Sentiment Strips: Christmas and the Sentiment Strips Dies. 

My final touch was die cutting out a little Holly from Winter Mug Dies with red and green card stock. Popping it up with 3D foam squares and the images and sentiment, attach the circles with liquid glue to the panel.
