Lucky Strips Shamrock
Hello crafty friends! It’s Dana here today with a colorful St. Patrick’s Day card to share with you all.
I started my card by making my card panel with the Simple Strips die. I die cut a rainbow of cardstock strips and attached them to my panel in rainbow order. Next, I used the Shamrock Shaker die to die cut a large shamrock out of a white panel. I then attached the panel over my rainbow with foam adhesive. I love all the clean white space with the colorful strips showing from behind.
For my sentiment I used the Lucky Shadow dies. I die cut the shadow from vellum and the word lucky from gold cardstock. Once the two die cuts were glued together I attached the sentiment to the center of my shamrock with foam adhesive. Lastly, I added a few Sparkling Clear sequins to finish my card.
Thanks for joining me today and I hope you enjoyed my card. I think this same card design will work great with other larger dies. I hope I inspired you to create one of your own.
Enjoy your day, Dana
Love that rainbow background. I am not good at thinking up ways to use my scrap strips. This would be perfect. This looks great!
I luh-luh-LOVE this, Dana and PPP!!! This is gorgeous and when I looked at it, I checked right away to see who created it…. I figured Laura Bassen, so, Dana… you fooled me! I may have to copy this a little!
Thanks for the great inspiration!
