Colorful Citrus Shaker

Hello there! It’s Leica here, and I’m so excited to share a colorful and fun shaker card with you today. For this card, I used the amazing Layered Citrus Stencils, the Hot Foil – Friend Script, and the Citrus stamp set. Trust me, the vibrant colors in this card will surely bring joy to the lucky recipient.

To get started, I took a white cardstock panel in the A2 size and used the Layered Citrus Stencils to stencil a fantastic citrus pattern. I used Distress Oxide Inks in Dried Marigold + Spiced Marmalade, Mowed Lawn + Twisted Citron, Spun Sugar + Kitsch Flamingo, and Squeezed Lemonade + Fossilized Amber. The layered stencils allowed me to customize the colors of the citrus fruits, making it so much fun!

Next, I used the Fancy Cake Dies to create a lovely teal frame. I attached a sheet of acetate to the back of the frame and added foam tape around it, creating a perfect space for the shaker bits. For the shaker bits, I used the Fruit Smoothie Clay Confetti, which features a delightful mix of colors. It adds such a wonderful touch to the card!

For the sentiment, I used the hot foiling technique to create the word “Friend” using the Friend Script and teal foil on white cardstock. I also added a sub-sentiment by white heat embossing words on a strip of pink cardstock. These sentiments were then adhered to the acetate.

Lastly, I attached the card panel onto an A2-sized card base. It was an easy and breezy process, and the final result turned out super cute!
