Spring Theme Week- Day 1

Hello friends! This is Mindy and in today’s post I’m kicking off Spring Theme Week and I’m showing how to create the Scallop Box Card. I go over all the instructions on the box assembly in the video so I will briefly touch on the card down below.

I am super excited for Spring especially with all of these amazing new products from Pretty Pink Posh. There are lots of different stamp sets that would work in the Scallop Box Card but I’m going to use the Flower Garden set for mine today since I’m getting Spring Fever.

I stamped out numerous images from the Flower Garden set and also from Spring Chicks stamp set. I used an alcohol friendly ink so I could color them with my Olo Markers.

You have so many options for the box like die cutting it from colored cardstock, pattern paper or white cardstock and ink blend on your color like I did today.

I ink blended Key Lime ink for my grass and Sea Glass Ink for my sky using a flat blending brush.

When assembling my scene, I like to place the largest image in the back so it doesn’t hide all the other adorable images.

The sentiment I’m using today comes from the Flower Garden stamp set as well but this card would be good for any occasion.

It’s going to be a beautiful display piece for the recipient and you can write a personal message on the back of the box if you choose.
