Valentine Theme Week- Day 7

Hello! It’s Gemma here and today I’m sharing a card using a fabulous new layering stencil set from the January release – Layered XOXO.

I began with Layer A. Over a 6×6 square of white card, I blended Hickory Smoke distress oxide ink through the stencil. Next, I used Layer C with Pumice Stone distress oxide ink. I first used some washi tape to cover one of the spaces on the stencil.

I then used Layer B, with Candied Apple distress oxide ink, to add a heart in the space left from Layer C. I covered the heart with Nuvo Glimmer Paste in Moonstone, for some sparkle.

I am so excited that Pretty Pink Posh has released hot foil plates! I foiled the Hot Foil Large Love plate in gold on white card, using my Glimmer Hot Foil machine. I then die cut the foiled sentiment with the Large Love Shadow die and added extra layers for dimension.

I adhered the stenciled panel to a 6×6 card base, then added the foiled sentiment.

For an additional sentiment, I stamped one from the XOXO stamp set with red ink. I trimmed it down to a small sentiment strip, added some red card behind, then adhered to my card to finish.
