Sunflowers & Bees
Hello crafty friends! It’s Leica here today with a get well soon card that will sure bring a smile to your card recipient. For this square-shaped card, I used a combination of previously-released sets: Bee Friends stamp set and Sunflowers stamp set.
Let’s begin! I first cut a 4 inch square in white cardstock and ran it through a die cut machine with a dot embossing folder for texture. I then adhered it onto a 4.5 inch square light pink card base.
Next, I stamped, colored, and cut the flowers and bees. I used Copic markers – BG10, E49/47/44, N3/1/0, Y13/11/00, Y38/35/23/21/08, YG99/23/21. I adhered the leaves onto the card panel using liquid glue, foam mounted the sunflowers on top for dimension, and glued the bees on the flowers. The sentiment is from the Simple Sentiments stamp set. I love this set as it covers a lot of occasions for cardmaking. It is my most used stamp set. I white heat embossed the get well soon sentiment onto a strip of black cardstock and adhered on the bottom left side of the card.
That’s all for this card. Thanks so much for stopping by!
GORGEOUS!
