Spring Bees
Hello friends! It’s Leica here with a circle-shaped card, using a combination of previously-released stamp sets. I used the Spring Wreath stamp set and the Bee Friends stamp sets and their coordinating dies.
To start, I cut a 4.5 inch circle and ink blended it with Kitsch Flamingo Distress Oxide Ink. I sprayed some water to get an oxidized effect and also splattered it with white acrylic paint. I also cut another 4.5 inch circle, ink blended it with Mowed Lawn and Twisted Citron Distress Oxide Inks, and cut with a grass die. I adhered the grass area onto the Kitsch Flamingo panel.
Next, I stamped, colored, and cut the wreath from the Spring Wreath stamp set and bees from the Bee Friends stamp set. I used Copic markers – BG10, N3/1/0, R22/20/00/000, Y15/13/11, YG23/21.
I then adhered the wreath onto the card panel and placed a smaller vellum on top for a softer look. I foam mounted the bees on top of the vellum. The sentiment is white heat embossed on a strip of black cardstock and adhered on the vellum. Lastly, I cut a 5 inch circle in light pink cardstock and adhered onto a card panel.
That’s all for this card. I hope that you like today’s card share and that I’ve inspired you to create a circle-shaped card.
