Pastel Happy Days

Hello, Gemma here. Today Iā€™m sharing a card featuring a lovely layering stencil set called Happy Days. It makes such a cheerful and fun card, quickly and easily.

When using the layering stencils, I like to start with a 6×6ā€ card panel. This allows me to get the stencils aligned properly.

I blended each layer with distress oxides – Squeezed Lemonade, Kitsch Flamingo, Spun Sugar, Salvaged Patina, Shaded Lilac, and Hickory Smoke.

On an A2 notecard (4.25 x 5.5ā€), I adhered three thin strips of coloured card, die cut using the Stitched Strips die set. I chose colours to match the stencilled rainbows.

I trimmed down the stencilled panel and adhered it to the card above the stitched strips. For the sentiment, I used the Birthday Scripts stamp set. I stamped a smaller sentiment directly on the panel, then added a stamped and die cut greeting underneath.

I hope you enjoyed this card. Thank you for stopping by!
