Valentine Theme Week- Day 2
Hello friends, it’s Raquel! Welcome to day 2 of Valentine theme week. From January 24th to January 30th we will be focusing on Valentine designs.
We will be offering inspiration each day and there will be a 15% discount on all the items on Pretty Pink Posh Valentine’s Day Section during this theme week.
I have created a card featuring the Sending Love set.
The first step was to create a background for my creatures. I used the Scattered Hearts Stencil to create a gradient look. I used Seedless Preserves, Kitsch Flamingo and Spun Sugar Distress Inks.
Next I die cut this cute little tag from the set Decorative Tags Die 2. I applied the same inks only to the lower and upper part of the tag, leaving the center white so that my focal image popped up more.
Next I colored my images. The cute doggy, the letters and the little bird with the heart. I also used a bigger bird from the set Spring Robins.
I used RV66, RV63, RV21 and RV000 for the main images and RV29, RV25 and RV21 for the little hearts. To make the images pop, I added some white accents with a white gelly roll pen. Finally I white heat embossed the sentiment, which is from the set Sending Love.
