Decorated Layered Tree

Hi all! Lindsay here on the blog today bringing you a card featuring some of my favorite Pretty Pink Posh holiday dies!

I started with a piece of watercolor paper that I colored with Nuvo Shimmer Powders in various green shades. Once that was dry, I splattered it with white and black splatters.

The centerpiece of this card is then die cut from that watercolored piece using all the tree elements from the Layered Tree Dies. While I had the Layered Tree Dies out, I die cut the small accompanying images of ornaments, stars, and bows from red, gold, and silver glitter cardstock. I knew I wanted the tree to pop on a white background, but wanted a little extra pizzazz, so I cut out the Winter Frame Die from white cardstock for a tone on tone layered background.

Once I had added all of the goodies to the tree, I mounted it using foam background onto the white background with the Winter Frame details. I finished it off with a gold embossed sentiment from the Holiday Signs Stamp Set on red cardstock.
