Monochromatic Halloween

Hi everyone, Jane here today sharing this cute monochromatic Halloween card with you! This card uses vellum and pretty pink posh jewels to add some fun elements to the scene!

Pretty Pink Posh: Monochromatic Halloween

To start the card, I used a piece of black cardstock and spattered some white acrylic paint using an old paint brush.  Next, I used the Nature Essentials die to cut the puffy clouds at the bottom of the panel.  The background clouds are from the Fly A Kite stamp set and the moon is from the Halloween Friends stamp set.  Black cardstock cut using the bat die from the halloween friends stamp set and glued to the background to create a shadow of a bat.  A piece of vellum was layered over the background to soften the scene and make it appear foggy.

Next, I stamped the images from Trick or Treat Friends (batgirl) and Halloween Friends (bats) using black ink.  Copic markers used for the bat girl are: N7, N5, N3, N1, Y19, Y21, YR30, E55, E53 and E50.  White gel pen used for accents on the images. The images were cut using the coordinating dies and adhered to the card front. Next, I stamped a sentiment from trick or treat friends using black stazOn ink. Black jewels were added to the bottom layer to mimic gravel.  Lastly, I added a black border cut using the Nature Essentials die and adhered the card front to a gray piece of A2 cardstock.  The entire front of the card was then attached to a white card base and that completes the card!

Thanks so much for stopping by today!
