Baby Lamb Shaker
Hi, friends. Today we have a fun card by Caly that was featured in a magazine earlier this year. This is the perfect card for anyone having a little one. You could easily switch the colors for the recipient or season!
Today I’m making a shaker card using the Little One stamp set. It’s a simple, but adorable set that I’ve used to decorate my shaker today.
To make my card, I simply stamped and colored the two images from the Little One stamp set with Copic markers (W00, W1, W3, E0000, E00, E02, R20, BG11, BG13). After coloring, I die-cut the images and added some white gel highlights before setting them aside to work on my shaker panel.
On a blank panel, I ink-blended with Peacock Feathers Distress Oxide Ink – concentrating the color in the upper 1/3s of the panel where my shaker frame will be and blending the color out towards the edges. After ink-blending, I splattered it with water as well as some white ink. While that is drying, I worked on my shaker frame.
My shaker frame is simply die-cut using white cardstock using a Scallop Circle Frame. I trimmed a piece of acetate to create my window. After adhering my acetate to my circle frame, I also attached a thin strip of foam adhesive to create my shaker window. I placed a mixture of confetti from the Easter Confetti Mix along with the Sparkling Clear Confetti Mix where I wanted my shaker frame and adhered my shaker frame over it. To finish, I stamped my sentiment below the shaker frame and attached my two images.
I hope you enjoyed this card! Thanks so much for stopping by!
