Watercolor Sunflowers
Hi, everyone! It’s Marge for you today. I’m going to share a watercolor sunflower card featuring the beautiful Sunflowers stamp set.
I started by stamping Sunflowers on watercolor paper using Distress Ink Tea Dye. I then colored the blossoms and leaves with my watercolor paints. I cut them all using Sunflowers Coordinating Dies, splattered with white acrylic ink and set them aside.
Next, I made a partially stenciled background using the new Wafers Stencil and light brown inks. Then I splattered with dark and red metallic ink over the panel.
In turn, I adhered Sunflowers onto the stencil background using Glue Dots and Square Foam Adhesives, then I rounded natural twine several times around the lower part of the panel. The sentiment from Fall Signs stamp set was heat embossed in white on red cardstock and was adhered over the twine.
Once again, I splatted with some metallic inks all over the scene, adhered Sparkling Clear Sequins Mix around the flowers and then I finished off my card.
That’s it from me for today. Thank you so much for reading this post. Have a wonderful day!
