Halloween Theme Week- Day 5

Good morning friends! It is Melody here today with another project to share with you for Halloween Week. I used combination of different stamp sets and dies to create this Halloween scene.

The holiday season is my favorite time to create and I love how well many of the Pretty Pink Posh Stamps work together. I created the this card with a combination of stamps and dies from the Trick or Treat Friends stamp set, the Autumn Wreath stamp set, Halloween Pals stamp set, and the Pumpkin Patch Critters stamp set.

I stamped a variety of images I thought would work together from the different stamp sets, colored with Copic Markers, and die cut with the coordinating dies. I also die cut a fence from black cardstock with the Picket Fence Die, grass with the Stitched Border 2 Dies and the larger pumpkin with the Small Stitched Foliage Dies.

The cute witch is created with the Trick or Treat Friends stamp set and Trick or Treat Friends coordinating dies. I extended the length of the broom by cutting the broom in half and gluing the broom to the back of the witch. The sentiment is from the the Halloween Pals stamp set, stamped in Versamark Ink and embossed with gold embossing powder. I used Distress Inks in Scattered Straw, Wild Honey, Spiced Marmalade, Seedless Preserves, and Black Soot to create the night sky. Then I splattered the background with watered down gold paint.

Next I adhered the fence and grass to the card front. I played around with the arrangement of the pumpkins and leaves until I happy with the look and used a combination of glue and foam squares to attach the die cuts. The crow is from the Trick or Treat Friends stamp set and die cut with the Trick or Treat Friends coordinating dies. The jack-o-lantern is from the Halloween Pals stamp set and die cut the the Halloween Pals coordinating dies.  The other pumpkins are from the Pumpkin Patch Critters stamp set and die cut with the Pumpkin Patch Critters coordinating dies. And the leaves are from the Autumn Wreath stamp set and die cut with the Autumn Wreath coordinating dies.
