Happy Bee Friends

Hello Pretty Pink Posh friends! Shannon here, so happy to join you today!

I have a fun shaker card to share with you today featuring some lovely sequins, confetti and seed beads along with the Bee Friends stamp set and coordinating dies.

Okay, so I promise creating the card was not nearly as complicated as I make it sound with my explanation! I started with an A2 size piece of white card stock and die cut the panel with the wavy scallop die from the Scallop Border Dies and die cut a thin piece of white card stock with the straight scallop border from the same die set.

Now I want to adhere these pieces together to make it my shaker window. I did this by laying both pieces over an A2 card base so that I knew exactly the spacing needed before I added strips of card stock to connect the 2 pieces together. I cut two thin strips of paper and adhered one on the top and one on the bottom to create my shaker window area.

I then added acetate and fun foam to the back and filled it up with all my shaker pieces. I used Daffodil seed beadsHydrangea seed beadsLilac seed beadsPetunia seed beadsSparkling Clear Confetti Mix and Gold Mini Circle Confetti.

Onto creating my scene, I die cut some green card stock with the Scallop Border die to create my grass. I then stamped all my images on a separate piece of white cardstock, colored with Copic markers and cut out with the coordinating dies.

I hope you enjoyed, I had fun creating it and love those bees flying over those pretty flowers. Thank you so much for joining me today!

  1. Fun foam. . . of course!! How do you adhere your foam to make sure it stays? I just have to try this, but I’m sure mine won’t be nearly as adorable as yours. Love it!!

  2. Stunning card. I love how you did the shaker window…very creative.

  3. This is adorable and I love the edging on both sides for the shaker, very clever

  4. Love the cards! I haven’t used distress inks but I really want to.
My top three are my cricut, any water colors and foil iron-on!
