  147. Oh I forgot to tell you my favorite Christmas memory. I was about 5, wearing an oversized blue snoopy t shirt when I opened up my 1st pair of go go boots! I was stylin’ and profilin’ with black boots to the knees and a snoopy shirt!! I just knew I was all grown up then. Hope your Christmas is filled with love, laughter and beautiful memories just like mine. xoxo

  148. Love this! Holidays spent with family and friends just can’t be beat! Every year is different but special.

  149. Vera, your card is just precious!
My fav. holiday memory was the year our 9 y/o son gave his 12 y/o sister a kitten for Christmas. The kitten was a 3 month old barn cat and hadn’t been handled and was as wild as can be! Our daughter had him “tamed” by the end of the day, for her, but the rest of us…NOT SO MUCH! LOL Great memories as we had him for 21 years. Best present ever!

  150. I like the dark background on your card.
Each year with more grandchildren brings new favorite Christmas memories.

  151. This card is just so adorable. My favorite memory is cooking with my dad, he is passed now, so I am teaching my kiddos how to cook and bake.

  155. My favorite Christmas is too long of a story to post here, so, instead of that I will say that every Christmas is special because I find a way to make it special with whichever friends and family I see that day!

  156. Such a sweet card! Really love the hanging mugs and cups. My favorite Christmas memory is when my brother in law dressed as Santa one Christmas eve went to the roof and stomped around, then came in the house and woke our children and put presents under the tree. I will never forget the look on the 5 year olds eyes. Priceless

  157. Super adorable card with amazing coloring! One of my fondest Christmas memories is from about 20 years ago, seeing all three of my kids coming down the stairs on Christmas morning.

  169. The black background really puts this card over the top–and I like the teeny, tiny stamped message.

  170. My mother making candy, she knew what everyone liked so we had tins filled with a huge variety, mine was black walnut fudge

  173. I always loved decorating the tree with my parents when I was a kid. Such a lovely Christmas memory!

  174. We love the annual tradition of sitting by the fire (in past years it may have been sitting in the car going to in-laws) and reading “Let’s Keep Christmas” by Peter Marshall. It reminds of the true meaning of Christmas. Also having my grands read the Christmas story from the Bible. They started this when they first learned to read and are now high schoolers. I love this card!

  175. Very cute card! I have many favorite Christmas memories. Many center around being at my grandparents, who are now gone. Everyone used to gather there-there would be 40 of us or more. Lots of visiting and fun to be had!

  176. Fabulous card! Love the memories of the kids helping decorating the house!

  177. Great card!!
My fondest Holiday memory is when I took my family to visit my mom and dad for Christmas when my twins were about 5 and my youngest daughter was 2. My mom had all the presents wrapped under the tree. My mom was in the kitchen making dinner the rest of us were up stairs watching tv, so we thought. My son snuck down stairs found one of his presents unwrapped it then wrapped it back up again. Well my mom saw the whole thing but didn’t say anything. On Christmas Eve after dinner we are all sitting in front of the tree and opening our presents when my dad hands my son the package, He opens it and says ” OH YES This IS What I have always Wanted!!” MY mom starts busting out laughing and tells us the whole story about the night before. We have never let him forget it til this day and he is now 30 years old. LOL!!

  178. The year (in the ’50’s) my sister and I received doll bunk beds made by our grandfather. My daughter played with it as well and now my granddaughter loves playing with it. Truly a Christmas memory that keeps on giving …. Thanks Grandpa Byron!!

  179. Super fun card. Decorating the tree was always a big deal. My dad and brother would handle the lights and my mom, sister and I would do the decorating. Both my parents are gone now and my siblings live out of state, but I still think about this happy memory.

  180. Making “Grammy” houses at my parent’s house with my sisters and their kids!

  181. Drinking egg nog with my family after midnight Christmas Eve service!

  183. My favorite holiday memory is helping my little nieces and friends make snowmen filled with rice. We cut off colorful socks to make the hat and scarf. Used brads to make the eyes and button brads for their buttons. The kids loved it and it sits on their shelf now.

  184. I fondly remember one Christmas party in particular. A bunch of my “personal growth” friends and I got together and had such a wonderful time baking cookies and making ornaments. I wish I could do that day all over again!

  185. Staying in our pajamas all day and spending family time together with my mom, dad sisters, brother and dogs.

  186. I loveeeeee this cute coffee card. It reminds me of coming in from playing in the snow and then drinking hot cocoa when I was little. I would warm my cold fingers around the hot cup and feel the tingle.

  187. My dad was impossible to buy gifts for because had few needs/wishes. Every year, Mom noted things that he said about stuff he needed for around the house – so one year he received a shiny aluminum step ladder and Mom had us, her 4 daughters, pose on the ladder in our matching Christmas bathrobes. We had a hard time making a serious card because we were hysterical about this Christmas gift.

the doors were closed on Dec 1 (to allow Santa time to decorate) and
they weren’t opened until Dec 25. It was amazing – I was an only
child so I was really spoiled.

  193. Am going to try to scraplift your fabulous card!! Love it that much!
My fondest Christmas memory is every year when all my children are able to get time off and come to town to be all together. But years gone by when they were younger, and due to my parents’ passing due to cancer, we used to spend the day going to cancer wards and singing carols for those families and their loved ones battling the disease. We brought toys for the children and cookies for the nursing staff. It’s all done through Nathaniel’s Hope here in Orlando, Florida. It was such a blessing to us and them.

  194. My best memories seem to involved friends family and lots of food! Sitting about eating and talking – brilliant. Hope you have a great one yourself.

  195. Gorgeous card. My favourite Christmas memory? That is hard as I have been on my own for so long. I love the preparations of Christmas the colours, christmas lights, carols, and catching up with friends. I believe my favourite is yet to come. I’ve always dreamed of a white Christmas, sounds corny I know, but pretty much every Christmas I have had as been hot and droopy. One day I will have one.

  201. Oh my GOSH – ZIG MARKERS! I cannot even imagine… My favorite holiday memory was probably decorating this tiny little 3′ Christmas tree I purchased at Walgreens on super sale and decorating it – I was young and single and it was the first time I had a tree of my own in my place, without roommates or anything, I had so much fun putting on the colorful lights (I LOVE color!) and adding the few very inexpensive ornaments I had at the time. I thought it was one of the most beautiful things I had seen in my life. Thank you so much for the chance to win such a generous prize! I love your card – When using black on Christmas cards first became a trend I didn’t like now, now I LOVE the way it looks on cards – really makes the colors POP! I think my favorite Christmas memory is actually a tradition of making and dipping chocolates with my husband. It’s not often I can get him into the kitchen so I love that he’ll help me once a year during my weekend chocolate making session. My little girl sometimes joins in on the fun as well, which is great as well.

  213. Beautiful card. My favourite memory was when my children were small we would watch a Christmas movie and put on our new pyjamas and then sing Christmas songs as we went to bed with our stockings x x

  215. My favorite Christmas memory happened last year. My children and I made whole bunch of decorated sugar cookies and gave them out as gifts to friends and family. It looks 3 days for the whole process but we had so much fun. I hope to do that again this year.

  216. Love this card, especially the coffee ornaments hanging down! My favorite holiday memory is getting up about midnight to find that Santa had already come! The funny thing is my parents were still up, and I never put two-and-two together! Boy, was I gullible! It was sooooo hard to go back to sleep when all I wanted to do was dive into all that Santa had brought!

  217. I love this card, Vera! So clever and beautifully done!
