You’re In My Thoughts

Good morning!

Today I’m sharing a card that I made with my newly purchased WPlus9 set- Guiding Light. I’ve had this set for a few weeks but haven’t gotten around to playing with it until now. I love all the different elements in this set- plus, it’s great for creating masculine cards!

I was really inspired by this card by Dawn. I loved how she used the woodgrain on the kraft and also used the die cut as a window. These are perfect elements when creating a masculine card. You’ll notice that I also did some distressing with my handy Heidi Swapp edge distresser tool. I went through a phase where I used this on everything….now I’m finally bringing it back out again. :)

I hope you all have a great start to your week!
Stamps: You’re Dandy, Guiding Light, Woodgrain Silhouettes (WPlus9)
Paper: Cream, Brown Kraft, Navy, Dark Chocolate (PTI)

  1. Beautiful card, Paulina!
I’ve had that same set for a while now too, and I still haven’t been able to use it yet. I’ve been so busy! But your card is definitely inspiring. I love how you incorporated the rays from the You’re Dandy set. That’s such a great idea!

  2. Love this card, Paulina! It has such a calming effect. I especially love how the rays extend to the very edge of the label and the wood grain is perfect, too!

  3. I think you just pushed me over the edge into purchasing this set Paulina! LOVE what you’ve done with it here…very good guy card.
