Hello Friend

Good morning sweeties!

These past few days I have been working on several magazine submissions. As most of you know, I got my very first card published in the August issues of CARDS. Since then, I have submitted off and on, but haven’t had any luck since. I really hope I’m not a one hit wonder! It’s so hard to know what magazines are looking for…..

Today I have a super pretty (can I say that?!) card to share. I pulled out the Bannerific set from Lawn Fawn and then paired it up with the Hello Friend sentiment from DeNami Design. I tend to look for stamps that can be versatile- I don’t like having a stamp for just one card design. ;)

    Love your card today – you’re totally allowed to say it’s super pretty because it is! Those paper pieced birdies are super sweet!

  4. You are most definetly allowed to say that this is pretty, because it is! It is hard to know what they want in a submission isn’t it?! Just keep plugging away and keep doing what you’re doing cause you’re AWESOME!

  9. Yes, you can absolutely say that your card is pretty, because it IS!
    And rest assured you are not a one-hit-wonder when it comes to getting published. Pretty soon they will be BEGGING you to design for them, you just wait!
    I’ve never attempted to submit anything before but I have been considering it lately…

  10. You certainly can say that because it is VERY pretty. I have not seen a single card on your blog that wasn’t just amazing, you have a lot of talent. (I may not comment all the time but I visit daily, *wink*) The colors are very pretty!!!
