Hi Friends, Angelica here and have a fun card to share today feature the new Snowflakes Stencil, which is one of FIVE of the new stencils. I am addicted to snowflakes, and couldn’t wait to get busy with this stencil!

I started this card by making the background. I used Sapphire, Sky Blue, and Violet liquid watercolors on watercolor paper. I painted the paper with clean water, and added drops of color. I let the panel air dry between layers. One finished, I attached the stencil to the panel, and spread a thin layer of Ranger Texture Paste.

I used an ornament from Stitched Ornaments Die Set die-cut this pretty textured paper. I die-cut silver glitter card stock with the topper die, and trimmed a tiny glitter strip to hang the ornament on. I used a bow from the Twine and Bows Die Set to die-cut the silver bow. I stamped and silver heat embossed a sentiment from the new Winter Wreath Stamp Set, trimmed it, and added it to the ornament with thin foam squares.

To assemble the card, I trimmed the background to 4 x 5.25″, and added it to a card base with foam adhesive. I used Multi Media Matte to attach the string, ornament, and bow. My final touch was adding a single Pearl White Jewel to the bow.

Hello! This is Caly and welcome to our release sneak peek!  Today, we’re focusing on the stand-alone dies and they are fabulous!  I’ve created two cards, so let’s jump right in and talk about the first card, which is created using the new Stitched Poinsettias.

I began by die-cutting the poinsettias in a red cardstock, the centers in yellow cardstock, and the greenery using green cardstock.  I also decided to add some Pine Sprigs to make my cluster more interesting, which I also cut using green cardstock. After die-cutting, I used inks slightly darker than my cardstock to add shading to each element using an ink-blending tool to add color.  I did this to the poinsettia and poinsettia leaves only.  

Once I was done ink-blending, I added glitter to my poinsettia by applying clear lacquer to the edges and applying glitter, then setting it aside to dry.  Next, I worked on my background. I ink-blended the background using Victorian Velvet at the center where I wanted my poinsettia to be, and then blended out towards the edges using Tea Dye Distress Oxide Ink.  Then I splattered the panel with water, white paint, and white iridescent paint.  

To construct my card, I first curled all the petals on my poinsettias and leaves.  Then, I glued the poinsettia pieces together at the center. The centers are attached using foam adhesive for some height.  I adhered the entire flower at its center to the card and added some Lemon Drop Jewels to the yellow centers.  Finally, I added the foliage and pine springs around the poinsettia and then added my sentiment in the upper right hand corner from the Decorative Ornaments stamp set.

My second card features the Winter Frame die.  I die-cut the frame using white cardstock and colored it using Copic markers.

Copic colors used:  [R08, R29], [R37, R39], [Y04, Y35], [YG07, G05], [YG63, G29], [E35, E27]

To create my background, I ink-blended a white panel with Bundled Sage Distress Oxide Ink.  After ink-blend a fade towards the center, I splattered the panel with water, white ink, and watered-down Pine Needles Distress Oxide Ink.  

To turn my card into a shaker, I added acetate to the back of my Winter Frame and added foam adhesive to the border.  Before attaching, I filled the space with the Merry Confetti Mix which is also new with this release.  My sentiment is die-cut from the Happy Holidays Script in gold sparkle card stock and is adhered over the front of the shaker on top of the acetate.

Hi Everyone! It’s Melody here on the blog today and I am going to give you a sneak peek at two more of the new stamp sets and dies in the October 15th release, Happy Hanukkah and Happy New Year. 

Let start with the new Happy New Year Stamp Set, Happy New Year Coordinating Dies, and the Fireworks Stencil. To create the background I cut a piece of white cardstock to fit the card front. Then I used the new Fireworks Stencil with Versamark ink and Gold Embossing Powder. 

The champagne glasses are lightly colored with Copic Markers and I added a coat of glitter with a glitter pen to the champagne. I die cut the glasses with the Happy New Year Coordinating Dies. The oval is die cut with the Scallop Ovals Dies, once from black cardstock and once from gold foil. 

The sentiment is stamped in Versamark Ink and embossed with black embossing powder on vellum. I finished off the card with confetti from the new Celebration Confetti Mix. 

My next card showcases the new Happy Hannukkah Stamp Set. I decided to go with a classic navy, white, and silver theme. I cut a piece of white cardstock to fit the card front and cut a window in the center with the Storybook 5 Dies. Then I  used the variety of stars in the stamp set and navy blue ink to created the background pattern. Behind the window I added navy blue cardstock and a strip of white cardstock, cut with the straight die in the Stitched Borders 2 Dies. 

The Menorah and the candle flames are stamped in Versamark Ink and embossing with silver embossing powder and colored with Copic Markers. The star at the top and the sentiment are stamped and embossed. I added a silver confetti to the middle of the star from the new Celebration Confetti Mix.

Hello, Gemma here with a sneak peek of the October 15th release to share with you all. Today I’m showcasing the beautiful Amaryllis stamp set, perfect for floral holiday cards.

I stamped images from the set using a dark grey alcohol friendly ink, which gives a softer look than black ink. I coloured them with copic markers, using the following colours: 

Petals – R20, R22, R24, R27, R29, with a little G40 in the very centres. Stamens – R39
Leaves – G40, G43, G46

I then cut out the images with the coordinating dies. Next, I cut a strip of silver glitter card, layering it over some dark grey card, then adhering it across my card base. 

I arranged my amaryllis images in a cluster, adding in a few dark green die cut leaves from the previously released Pine Sprigs die set. I adhered them on my card with liquid adhesive, with the top most flower popped up with foam squares.

To finish, I stamped a sentiment from the new Holiday Signs stamp set and added some of the new Merry confetti mix around the card.

Hello crafty friends! It’s Yoonsun here to share with you my Christmas card with the new Joy stamp set & coordinating die set along with other new holiday goodies.

I started by heat embossing the word “JOY” & Santa hat in gold onto watercolour paper. I partially coloured the stamped images with Festive Berries & Evergreen Bough Distress inks, and then die cut it with the matching dies.

I die cut the poinsettia parts from watercolour paper, applied Distress inks onto them using Blender Brush, and then glued the layers together using foam tape. 

Behind the “JOY”, I made a partial stencil background with the Leaves & Berries stencil. I placed the stencil in place over the watercolour paper panel, applied red & green Distress inks using Blender Brush, and then lightly brushed over all images with water brush.

Finally I mounted all elements as shown in the picture using foam tape, then embellished with a few clear droplets.

Hello, Gemma here today to share a card using the new Winter Wreath stamp set, which is part of the October 15th release. This beautiful set makes it easy to create quick and elegant holiday cards. 

I began with a piece of blue card, cut slightly smaller than my card base. I heat embossed the Winter Wreath in gold on the card, then white heat embossed the sentiment from the set in the centre of the wreath.

The embossing looks beautiful as is, so you can stop there, but I decided to add some colour to the wreath using my coloured pencils. I added a layer of white pencil first, then went over the top with other colours. The white layer keeps the colours vibrant on the darker card.

I adhered the panel on a white card base, then die cut a white glitter bow from the Twine & Bows die set to add to the wreath.

To add a little sparkle, I adhered some watermelon, pink blush, pearl white and sparkling clear jewels around the wreath, along with some of the new Celebration Confetti Mix to finish.
