August Product Release Blog Hop- Day 1

Pretty Pink Posh: August Product Release Blog Hop- Day 1

Hello, Gemma here today to share a card using a mix of the fabulous new August release and some previously released Pretty Pink Posh products. I love to mix sets to make a scene for my cards.

Pretty Pink Posh: August Product Release Blog Hop- Day 1

I began with the copic colouring. I stamped images from the new Sunflowers and Fall Signs, along with some pumpkins from the previously released Pumpkin Patch Critters

Pretty Pink Posh: August Product Release Blog Hop- Day 1

I chose the following copic colours for my sunflowers, mixing a bit of the E50 shades into the petals: Y11, Y15, Y17, E53, E55 and E57. I stamped a greeting on the scarecrow’s sign, using a sentiment from the Fall Signs stamp set, then used the coordinating dies to cut out all the images.

Pretty Pink Posh: August Product Release Blog Hop- Day 1

Next, I worked on the background. I cut a piece of orange patterned paper to adhere to my card base. I then die cut the previously released Lattice Background from white card and adhered with liquid glue over the top. I love cover backgrounds for adding interest to a card.

I arranged my images on my card base and, once happy with the placement, I used liquid glue to adhere the sunflowers and leaves. I used foam squares to add the scarecrow over the top, then adhered the pumpkins at his feet. I just love the pumpkin with the little mouse peeking out!

Pretty Pink Posh: August Product Release Blog Hop- Day 1

For some finishing touches, I added my usual white and black gel pen details. I then used the beautiful Espresso jewels to add some sparkle to the centre of the sunflowers. The Espresso jewels are a must have for fall cards as they tone in so well with those beautful autumnal colours.

I began by stamping and colouring lots of images from Bear Friends with copic markers, then used the coordinating dies to cut them out.

For my background, I embossed a border from the new Fall Borders stamp set along the bottom edge of my card base, using a copper embossing powder.

I took another piece of white card and trimmed it down with a Scallop Border die set. I added some tumbled glass distress oxide ink, fading out to white at the top. I then layered some of the die cut grass images on the panel, along the stitched line from the Scallop Border.

I added my other images with a mix of foam tape and liquid adhesive, to add some dimension to my scene. I also stamped a sentiment from the Bear Friends stamp set at the top of the panel.

Using foam tape, I adhered the panel to my card, then placed some Espresso jewels around the sentiment to finish this sweet scene. I love how the little bear is leading the other bear to the pot of honey she’s found.

Sneak Peek: August Stencils

Hi friends, Angelica here with a pair of Halloween cards cards showcasing two stencils from the upcoming release. These products will be available August 20th.

Pretty Pink Posh: Sneak Peek: August Stencils

I used the new Spider Web Stencil to make this flocked background. I sprayed the back of the stencil with Pixie Spray, then adhered it to black card stock. I spread DecoFoil Transfer Gel over the stencil in an even layer. I removed the stencil, and set the card stock aside for a few hours to dry.

I trimmed a piece of black DecoFoil Flock Transfer Sheet slightly larger than the black card stock. I put the flock side down onto the dry Transfer Gel, and ran it through my pre-heated MINC machine. Once it was out of the machine, I peeled off the sheet, revealing a flocked spiderweb.

Pretty Pink Posh: Sneak Peek: August Stencils

The large BOO is from the new Boo Stamp Set. I stamped and colored the word, then used the coordinating die to die-cut it. I attached it to the spiderweb with thin foam squares. I added the panel to to a card base, then finished the card with a white heat-embossed sentiment from the same stamp set.

Pretty Pink Posh: Sneak Peek: August Stencils

My second card features the new Wafers Stencil.

Pretty Pink Posh: Sneak Peek: August Stencils

I used Wild Honey, Spiced Marmalade, Wilted Violet, and Black Soot Distress oxides to blend over the stencil. I moved the stencil in a different position for each color. I used my Ranger Make Art Stay-tion (You can see how much I use this tool!) to keep my stencil positioned straight and even. My last color, Black Soot , was topped with a thin layer of Brutus Monroe Unicorn Horn Glitter Glaze.

Pretty Pink Posh: Sneak Peek: August Stencils

Once the glaze was dry, I trimmed the panel, and mounted it onto black card stock.

I colored the cat and dog from the Halloween Pals Stamp Set, and used the coordinating dies to die-cut them. I attached them to a die-cut Window Frame, then added the frame to the card front. I used foam adhesive to attach the card front to a card base, then added a heat-embossed sentiment to finish the card.

Pretty Pink Posh: Sneak Peek: August Stencils

We have a total of six stencils in this release- you are going to love each of them. Tomorrow you’ll see all of them in picture form!

I hope I have given you some new ideas on how to use these stencils. Thanks for stopping by.

Sneak Peek: Fall Borders + Thanksgiving Scene

Hi Friends! It is Melody here on the blog today and I am going to give you a sneak peek at the new Fall Borders Stamp Set and the Thanksgiving Scene Stamp Set being released on August 20th. I always am a little extra excited for the Fall Release. It kicks off the start of creating for the holidays!

Pretty Pink Posh- Sneak Peek: Fall Borders + Thanksgiving Scene

Here’s a look at my first project. I stamped the Thanksgiving Scene Stamp Set in a dark brown pigment ink and colored the with my Copic Markers. I used a blending brush to add a pale yellow ink to the background.

Pretty Pink Posh- Sneak Peek: Fall Borders + Thanksgiving Scene

There are three different border stamps in the Fall Borders Stamp Set. I cut a piece of Kraft cardstock to fit the card front and stamped the leaves borderat the top and bottom of the card front. I stamped in Versamark Ink and embossed with gold embossing powder. Then I colored the leaves in a variety of fall colors. Around the edges of the card front I sponged on Distress Ink in Brushed Corduroy

Pretty Pink Posh- Sneak Peek: Fall Borders + Thanksgiving Scene

Next I stamped and embossed the sentiment from the Thanksgiving Scene Stamp Set on a strip of deep red cardstock and added a strip of gold cardstock at the top and bottom of the scene.

Pretty Pink Posh- Sneak Peek: Fall Borders + Thanksgiving Scene

On my second card I used the Fall Borders Stamp Set in a couple of different ways. First I used the Fall foliage border to create the background pattern, stamping dark green ink on dark green cardstock. The I stamped the border again on a strip white cardstock, colored with Copic Markers, and sponged Antique Linen Distress Ink on the edges. Then I die cut the larger of the window in the Window Frames Dies directly into the card front.

Pretty Pink Posh- Sneak Peek: Fall Borders + Thanksgiving Scene

To create the scene in the window I used the previously released Autumn Wreath Stamp Set and the Pumpkin Patch Critters Stamp Set and their coordinating dies. I love how these sets coordinate so well with the new stamp sets! I finished off the card with a few Espresso Jewels

Thanks for stopping by! I hope I have inspired you to start thinking about creating for Fall!

Sneak Peek: Bear Friends

Hi, everyone! Marge here and I’m so excited to share sneak peek cards for the new August Release from Pretty Pink Posh, today. I’m going to showcase two cards featuring Bear Friends Set from the new release.

Pretty Pink Posh- Sneak Peek: Bear Friends

I started by stamping and coloring Bear Friends Set using Copic Markers and cut them all using Bear Friends Coordinating Dies. As you can see in the picture below, there are 10 images in the set including four pieces of adorable bears, two tiny leaves, honey, grass, a tree stump, and a butterfly. Aren’t they really cute? I had great fun coloring them.

Pretty Pink Posh- Sneak Peek: Bear Friends

In order to make a background for the bears, I decided to create a sky with clouds using Stitched Borders 2 Dies.I had once made a cloudy border stencil out of acetate film by diecutting it with Stitched Borders 2 Dies, which I had been keeping for reuse. Using my DIY Stencil and some dye inks, I made an ink-blended background as shown below. For the hill, I simply cut another piece of acetate film in a negative hill shape by freehand and used it as a stencil.

Pretty Pink Posh- Sneak Peek: Bear Friends

Once I finished my panel, the next steps were very easy. I just adhered my colored images to create a scene using Glue Dots and foam tapes. I also adhered several images from Woodland CrittersPumpkin Patch Critters, and Autumn Wreath Set to make the scene into an autumn one. Next, I added white accents to the images using a 10mm ball white gel pen.

Pretty Pink Posh- Sneak Peek: Bear Friends

A sentiment from the Bear Friends Set was heat embossed in white on a red tag mad with Stitched Labels 1 Dies, which was adhered on the left upper corner, and then I embellished my card using Sparkling Clear Sequins Mix and 3mm Sparkling Clear Sequins

Pretty Pink Posh- Sneak Peek: Bear Friends

My second project for today is a shaker card using the new pumpkin-shaped Grateful Shaker Die.

Pretty Pink Posh- Sneak Peek: Bear Friends

I started with Autumn Leaves Stencil, which is also part of the new release to make an autumn scene. In detail, I ink blended a piece of A2 sized Bristol paper using the dye inks shown below, then I placed Autumn Leaves Stencil onto it and inked through the stencil again to create a tone-on-tone look. I made another panel with lighter colors to be used in the shaker background.

Pretty Pink Posh- Sneak Peek: Bear Friends

Next, I diecut the panel with Grateful Shaker Die and assembled a shaker filled with various sequins: 6mm Metallic Gold, 4mm Metallic Gold6mm Mossy Green4mm Mossy Green,6mm Marigold4mm Marigold6mm Espresso4mm Espresso, TangerineGold Shimmer Seed BeadsSpring Green Seed Beads, and Sparkling Clear Seed Beads.

Pretty Pink Posh- Sneak Peek: Bear Friends

I diecut Grateful Shaker Die two times and glued them together for a dimensional look. The top layer was colored slightly using Copic Markers.I adhered images from Bear Friends Set and Pumpkin Patch Critters Set around the shaker, adhered the shaker onto a card base and finished it off.

Pretty Pink Posh- Sneak Peek: Fall Signs

I started by stamping some images from the Fall Signs set on watercolor paper using black pigment ink. I watercolored all stamped images, and then die cut them with the matching dies. I stamped the autumn greetings on the sign boards using black ink as well.

Pretty Pink Posh- Sneak Peek: Fall Signs

For the background, I placed the Pumpkin Background stencil on white card base, and then inked with pale brown dye ink.

Pretty Pink Posh- Sneak Peek: Fall Signs

Sneak Peek: Boo

Hello, Gemma here with a sneak peek to share with you all. I’m using the new Boo set, which is so much fun for Halloween. I made two cards to show how easy it is to get very different looks with this set.

Pretty Pink Posh- Sneak Peek: Boo

For my first card, I started with the background. I inked up two panels of white card with distress oxide inks in cracked pistachio, peacock feathers and black soot.

Pretty Pink Posh- Sneak Peek: Boo

On one of these panels, I used the new Spider Web stencil with embossing ink, then heat embossed the pattern with a clear glitter embossing powder.

On the other panel, I stamped the larger ‘Boo’ from the set and embossed it with white embossing powder. I then used the coordinating die to cut the letters out, keeping all the pieces.

Pretty Pink Posh- Sneak Peek: Boo

I layered the spider web panel onto my card base with foam tape, then adhered the stamped embossed letters from the other panel in the spaces. I set these back for dimension, and popped up the inside letter pieces (from the spider web panel) with foam tape.

Pretty Pink Posh- Sneak Peek: Boo

For my second card, I’m using the die cut spider web letters from my first card to create a very different look.

Pretty Pink Posh- Sneak Peek: Boo

I used distress oxides for my background, this time choosing picked raspberry, wilted violet, blueprint sketch and chipped sapphire. Halloween colours are so much fun! I flicked the panel with water to add lots of detail.

Pretty Pink Posh- Sneak Peek: Boo

I white heat embossed a sentiment from the Boo stamp set at the bottom of the card, then used foam tape to adhere the Boo die cut letters. I love the impact of these large letters across the card.

The Boo stamp set has lots of fun Halloween images. I stamped and copic coloured them, choosing mostly blue, pink and purple colours to match my background.

Pretty Pink Posh- Sneak Peek: Boo

I used the coordinating dies to cut the images out, then placed them around my card, adhering with foam tape. I love to add the hat to one of the letters.

I hope you enjoyed these Halloween cards- there are so many fun uses for this set. Join us tomorrow for another sneak peek of the August 20th release!

Pretty Pink Posh- Sneak Peek: Sunflowers

Pretty Pink Posh- Sneak Peek: Sunflowers

For the background, I used a blender brush to blend Kraft ink over the new Wafers Stencil. I moved the stencil 4 times for this pattern. I trimmed the panel down to 4×5.25, and attached it to a card base with foam adhesive. I used the largest Stitched Hexagon Die to die-cut white card stock. I adhered it to the card, then added the sunflower and leaves with foam adhesive. I added a gold heat-embossed sentiment from the new Bear Friends Stamp Set to finish the card.

Pretty Pink Posh- Sneak Peek: Sunflowers

I used the rest of the floral images on the next card.

Pretty Pink Posh- Sneak Peek: Sunflowers

On the white card stock I had die-cut the hexagon from, I blended light green ink over the new Autumn Leaves Stencil. I die cut a smaller hexagon window from Neenah Desert Storm card stock, then attached the stenciled white frame with foam adhesive . I blended the same green ink onto the front of a card base, then stamped a sentiment from the Everyday Greetings stamp set. I attached the card front to the base with foam adhesive, then added the flowers. I finished the card with a few jewels from the Citrus Jewels Mix.

Pretty Pink Posh: 2019 Mega Sponsor Fall Blog Hop Begins Today!

Today’s card is using the fabulous Summer Surfboards set. This card just makes me want to be by the seaside on a summers day. I began by adding some colour to my card base with distress oxide inks. I masked off areas of the card to create sky, sea and sand. Here are the colours I used:

Sky: tattered rose, picked raspberry and dried marigold
Sea: tumbled glass and peacock feathers
Sand: tattered rose

Pretty Pink Posh: 2019 Mega Sponsor Fall Blog Hop Begins Today!

By using a light hand with the tattered rose distress oxide ink, it adds a lovely warm glow to the sand, reflecting the colour in the sky. For the sea, I added some white gel pen details for surf and waves, smudging with my fingers to soften.

Next, I coloured two of the Summer Surfboards with copic markers, then die cut them with the coordinating dies. I used foam tape to adhere them to my card base,

The sentiment is from the Tropical Birds stamp set, and I added some watermelon, cornflower, and caribbean blue jewels around it to finish.
