Reindeer Treat Box

Hi everyone! It’s Wanda here and I’m happy to be a guest on the PPP Blog today! I’m sharing a Christmas Treat Box project I made with the brand new release – the Reindeer Holder Dies and the new Inside Sentiments: Christmas Stamp Set. I also used lots of PPP holiday favorites dies! I really love making treat boxes and the Birthday Treat Box is the perfect size to use with the Animal Holder dies. This new reindeer is the absolute cutest, especially in his Santa Hat!

I started this project by making the treat box first. I die cut the Birthday Treat Box die from green cardstock. I die cut a second one using gingham paper and used that to put in just the back panel of the box. These boxes come together so quickly and easily – great for mass production! I splattered on some white paint snow and set that aside to dry. Next I made that cute flag using the Party Flag dies…I embellished the flag with snowflakes and the new Sentiment set from this release.

I die cut all the pieces for the sweet Reindeer from the Reindeer Holder Dies. I gave him a Santa hat and he’s holding a festive wreath. I used kraft cardstock and cream cardstock for his body and dark brown cardstock for his antlers. I gently shaded the pieces with inks. I added little pink cheeks and then used a white gel pen on the pieces. To make it more jolly I mixed in some elements using glitter paper! Yeah for glitter!

I die cut a small Pinking Circle and affixed it to the front of the treat box with foam tape. I then attached the reindeer with foam tape too. I put his smile at a slight angle so he looks impish – like Rudolph!! I used a cello bag for a few candy treats and tied the top with twine. I put the party flag onto a drinking straw and tucked it into the treat box. Finished!

Let’s get started on our Christmas projects with this gorgeous new holiday release from Pretty Pink Posh! Thanks for the chance to share with you today.

Happy Crafting! XO Wanda
