Whimsical Christmas Gingerbread

Hi crafty friends, Debbie here with the new Christmas Gingerbread stamp set from the new Christmas release here at Pretty Pink Posh! You can’t help but smile with this new delightful stamp set, it’s so sweet!

Christmas Gingerbread Stamp Set
Christmas Gingerbread Coordinating Dies
Joy Word Shaker Die
Layered Sweet Candies Stencil
Mistletoe Kisses Shaker Beads
Stitched Arches Dies

I started off by stamping out the all of the images from the set onto OLO Premium card stock with Memento Tuxdeo Black ink. Once my coloring was done I die-cut them out with their Coordinating Dies.

Coloring them in with my Copics R81, R83, R85, R89, E30-37, G00, G02, G12, G24.

Next, for the background I using the Layered Sweet Candies Stencil and a standard A2 panel of mint card stock in a vertical post on my grip mat. With the layered A,  I pounced on Distress Oxide Lost Shadow and then again with white pigment ink. Then with the Layer B in place I pounced on Distress Oxide Picked Raspberry ink.

With the largest Stitched Arches Dies, centered on the panel I ran it through my Platinum 6 machine. Attaching the outer piece to my card base with liquid glue and popping up the arch with foam.

I knew right away that I wanted to combine my stamp images with the new Joy Word Shaker Dies. Using the two dies, I die-cut out 6 layers of pink card stock to adhere together making the wells for the Mistletoe Kisses Shaker Beads. With the solid die, I die-cut acetate for a window to sandwich in between the two top layers. And again from white card stock to seal the back with the shaker beads in.

What I didn’t know at first when I started to assemble my card was that I was going to tuck the one Gingerbread man behind the “JOY” word. So so Cute! You know they are in full swing decorating up the Gingerbread house for the holidays!

My final step was to add Star Dust Stickles to the candy images and some white highlights.  I love this sweet Christmas card!

Tell me in the comments what is your favorite Holiday Tradition.
