Happy Owl-o-ween!
Hey there, friends! Emily Mydlowski here with you today sharing a fun Halloween card design that was an absolute HOOT to create using the Owl Holder dies.

Let’s get started with the Witching Owl. I cut all the pieces from white cardstock and ink-blended the owl with dark purple inks and a brown belly. The witch hat is from the Halloween Holder Additions die set. I finished the owl with colored cardstock pieces for the dark purple feet, dark purple & white eyes, an orange beak and an adorable jack-o-lantern to hold on to.
To create the orange sky background, I used the Cloud stencil with two hues of orange ink. For extra shine, I spritz the background with a mist of shimmer spray. Then I added a white cardstock Stitched Arches for the Owl to perch on with a small patch of pumpkins.

To finish the card design, I added a black and white embossed Halloween Banner Greetings sentiment and adhered the decorated panel to a black & white stripe cardbase.
Happy crafting, and have a Happy Owl-o-Ween! Thanks for stopping by, and big paper hugs!
