Halloween Treat Buckets

Hi crafty friends! Debbie here with the new adorable Halloween Treat Buckets Stamp and Coordinating Dies from the Halloween release at Pretty Pink Posh! This release is so fun, packed with all the new basic dies, scene-building dies, and stencils, with more holder dies and shakers, of course!

I’ve  done a few quad design cards, and this is a perfect way to showcase the new Halloween Treat Buckets stamp set. I knew that it would have to be a 5X7 card to get at least three of the buckets and a sentiment from the stamp set.

I started off by stamping out the images that I wanted to use on Copic friendly paper and ink. Then I colored in the images with my Copics using YR04, YR07, YR09, YG01, YG03, YG06, V12, V15, V17, R81,  R83, R85, Y11, Y15, Y18, T3, T5, T7, and C1. Once my coloring was done, I used the coordinating dies to cut them out.

With a panel measuring 5×7 of Lavender card stock, I ink blended on Distress Oxides Villianous Potion, Milled Lavender, and Black Soot. Using the previously released Pinking Rectangle Dies I die cut it out with the cutting plates off set. This way only three of the edges were cut, sliding the die down and cutting off the remaining. This is probably the easiest die plate to do this with because the pinking edges match up perfectly. I placed the panel in my splat box and splattered on water, black and Sparkle Silk, set it to the side to dry.

To have the Halloween Treat Buckets stand out more I used the new Pinking Ovals Dies die cut out from black card stock. Having the sentiment “Trick or Treat” stamped and white heat embossed on one of the ovals.

Adhering the panel on a 5×7 card base with liquid glue, and then the ovals on using my T-ruler. Popping up the Halloween Treat Buckets and the extra candies with foam squares on the back. My final step was adding highlights with a white gel pen.

Thanks for stopping by! I hope you enjoyed my card!
