Whimsy Dandelions

Hello, friends! Justin here and today I’m excited to share a bright and happy card featuring several brand new Pretty Pink Posh products from the latest release. This design combines soft spring colors, layered die cuts, and playful florals for a clean and cheerful look.

To create the card, I started by die cutting the background using the Checkered Pierced Plate and lightly splattering it with Distress Oxide Ink for added texture and detail. After masking the edges of my Eyelet Hexagon Die Cut, I then blended Distress Oxide Ink  to create a soft blue focal point behind the sentiment and florals.

The images from the Dandelions Stamp Set were colored with Olo Markers to give the greenery and florals bright springtime color. I paired the florals with the “Hugs for You!” sentiment from the Hello Friend Stamp Set, stamped with Distress Ink for a softer look that still pops against the background.

To finish the card, I used 3mm foam tape to raise several elements and add extra dimension to the design. The layered die cuts and popped-up sentiment help create depth while keeping the card clean and easy to mail.
