Spring Easter Egg
Spring is when the flower sing! Melissa here with you again today and I’ve pulled out some new, springtime Pretty Pink Posh products to create with. Let’s get started!
My card uses the adorable, new Decorative Easter Egg die as my focal point. I cut it twice from white cardstock and on the bottom layer, I ink blended soft pastels in pink, aqua, and yellow. I then layered over the top, detailed layer and watched the colors shine through.
I layered this over an aqua background cut using the Pinking Rectangles die. Next I used the Watercolor Oval stencil to add a washed background in aqua. I then used the new Raindrops stencil to add a bit of soft rain in the background. I love how much detail this stencil adds in just seconds!
Lastly, I added my sentiment using the new Large Spring Shadow dies and then a few flowers bursting forth from the bottom of my large egg. These were cut using the Spring Foliage dies, which are so full of life and happiness. I layered all of these over a pink card base and even added a few touches of adhesive pearls, sequins, trim, and glitter to finish.
