Watercolor Trick or Treat

Hi friends! Sophie here today to share a fun Halloween card featuring new items from the August release (plus a few from prior releases!).

For this card I wanted to feature the new Halloween Word Scenes stamp and coordinating die set. I think this set is super unique and versatile. I shamelessly hope that more sets like this come out for other holidays too! I stamped out the “Trick or Treat” image and colored it with Copic markers. I kept the actual letters plain and just colored them with one shade of gray marker. I wanted the little icons of the mood, pumpkin, and candy corn to pop on the image so I made those more bold with colors and shading.

To fill in some space below my greeting I used images from the new Spider Friends stamp and coordinating die set. I think it is fun to really showcase little filler images from sets as it helps get more milage out of your supplies.

For the base of my card I used the previously released Watercolor Rectangle stencil and did an ombre inking of yellow to orange to peach. I really love this stencil, it is one of my most used as it can create a fun abstract background for just about anything! To finish the card off I used some Sparkling Clear Confetti and also stamped the little bats using black ink from the Halloween Greetings stamp set directly on to the panel.

I hope you feel inspired!
