You’re Tea-Riffic
Hi Friends! Emily Mydlowski here with you today sharing a clean & simple Tea Party card design using the Tea Time Stamp Set & Coordinating Dies.

I don’t know about you but even though I love stamped images, I tend to build my cards based on the sentiment and I’m a big fan of punny sayings and couldn’t wait to use the “You’re Tea-riffic” sentiment.
I stamped all the tea party images with VersaFine Clair Nocture ink and heat embossed the images with clear embossing powder. I love how the Nocturne ink gives crisp outline images but it’s not alcohol marker safe—hence sealing the ink with clear embossing powder. I know some will caution that the clear embossing can cause wear and tear on your marker nibs but I haven’t had any issues and willing to live on the edge (no pun intended) to take this crafty risk—so far so good.

I colored all the images with a combination of Copic & OLO markers in Teals, Pinks and Beige + a little red for the yummy strawberry shortcake. I also added a few white gel pen markings for extra dimension.
After coloring, I paced a Rectangle Eyelet white cardstock panel into a MISTI, lined up Tea Time images and placed the sentiment right below tea time images. Then I stamped the sentiment with VersaFine Nocturne Ink and adhered all the images with foam tape.

To finish the fun Tea Party card, I adhered the decorated Eyelet panel to a pink card base. A perfectly clean and simple and tea party card to celebrate someone special on being Tea-Riffic!
Thanks for stopping by and Big Paper Hugs!
