Fringe Love Heart
Happy 2025 to all! It’s Jill here and I’m excited to kick off the year with a bit of sweet fun sharing this card I created for the new January Release! Today, I’m featuring the new Fringe Heart Die Set and it is definitely a fast fave! I don’t know about you, but anytime I can create snazzy cards to mail easily, I’m all in!
I used a little different Valentine color combo of a Deep Pink, Light Gray, Soft Pink, Deep Orange and of course, A LOT of white!
I die cut each of the layers in their respective colors and layered them up, stitching each layer as I went. It would also be fun to use dimensional foam adhesive to give each layer a bit more heft, but I wanted to keep this more postal service friendly.
For the sentiment, I used the new Love Script Die and cut that out three times to give it more bulk. You can likely just add foam adhesive behind it, but I like this technique better for ease. I also prefer it so I can add a dark layer as the last die cut, giving it a bit of shadow. I like that it makes the sentiment pop a bit more.
For the base panel, I used the new XOXO Pierced Plate. (Honestly, I wanted to use the XOXO Pierced Plate on every card I made for this release. 😉) The whole panel is then die cut using the largest Eyelet Rectangle die.
This is a great card for Valentine’s Day or really any day you want to send a little love! The little fringes on each layer really give some flare so easily, while still keeping it postal friendly–love that!
Thanks for joining me here today and Happy 2025 crafting to you all! I hope you spread some love this year too!
Cool card. Love the fringe!
Love this!
