Thanksgiving Turkey
Hello friends, it’s Kristie here! Fall cards are my absolute favorite to make and I quickly fell in love with Pretty Pink Posh’s fall release! I love getting an early start on holiday cards, so I decided to use the Stitched Turkey die set for a fun Thanksgiving card.
For the background, I used the Layered Leaf Lattice stencil set on some white pearlescent cardstock. It’s so fun stenciling on specialty cardstock. Adds a little extra shimmer to the card. The ink colors I used are Distress Oxide Vintage Photo and Crackling Campfire. I did let the ink dry completely so it didn’t smudge.
For a little extra detail on the background, I added 4 chevron Stacked Edges die cuts. I did use some woodgrain patterned paper for the Stacked Edges pieces.
It’s always fun to use non-traditional colors for holiday colors. I couldn’t resist adding a bit of teal and soft pink to the sweet turkey. For the back row of feathers, I used 2 different cardstock colors, teal and orange. I used the soft pink cardstock for the smaller, front row of feathers.
The sentiment Happy Thanksgiving is part of the Sentiment Strips: Fall stamp set. I cut it out using the Sentiment Strips die set. To help the sentiment pop, I cut out 2 sentiment banner die cut pieces, one from teal cardstock and one from dark brown cardstock. I offset them slightly creating a dark brown drop shadow.

This is such a fun release and perfect for making fall cards!
Is this the cutest turkey 😍
