Graduation Box Card
Hello crafty friends, it’s Leica here. Are you looking for a unique and personalized graduation card idea? Look no further than the new Graduation Mug Additions Dies by Pretty Pink Posh! These versatile dies allow you to create customizable graduation-themed elements in any color scheme, making them perfect for celebrating the achievements of your loved ones.
To showcase these dies, I decided to make a box card in light blue cardstock using the Scallop Box Card Dies. I love how this card design adds dimension and interest, while also providing plenty of space to add your own embellishments or stamped images.
For the background panel of the box card, I chose a sheet of patterned paper with stars that added a festive touch. Then, I used the Graduation Mug Additions Dies to cut out the graduation-themed elements in black, blue, gold, silver, yellow, and white cardstocks. I particularly loved the graduation cap and diploma, which added a playful and celebratory touch to the card.
To make these elements appear as if they were floating, I adhered strips of acetate to the banners, graduation cap, numbers, and stars. This technique created a fun and dynamic effect that made the card stand out even more.
Finally, to add a touch of elegance and sophistication, I hot foiled the Hot Foil Congrats Script in gold foil on white cardstock and cut it with the Congrats Shadow Dies. I love that the Hot Foil Dies make it easy to add stunning metallic accents to my projects.
That’s all for my card share for today. Thank you for reading, and I hope my card has inspired you to create your own handmade cards using the Graduation Mug Additions Dies! Have a great day!
