Autumn Theme Week- Day 3

To create this scene, first I grabbed my current favorite fall stamp set, the Cozy Fall Critters stamp set, and stamped the squirrel, some leaves, the most amazing pinecones and an acorn to a piece of Neenah Solar white cardstock with brown alcohol friendly inkpad.
After a quick heat set, I colored them with Spectrum Noir Illustrator Markers. I wanted to achieve a rusty look for the squirrel, and an amber touch for the golden leaves, so I have used the following colors: TN8, TN7, TM3, TN1, FS8, EB4, EB2, BO3, BO1, CT4, CT3, CT1, FS9. I have also added white details to pop the images out more with white pigment pen.
For the background I have created a monochromatic fall tree look, using only pink shades. Started with my lightest markers to make the tree shapes, and finished with more vibrant colors to give it a dimension. I have used the following shades from the Spectrum Noir Illustrators: AP1, PP1, FS2, PP3, PP4, PP6.
Next, I stamped the Autumn scripty word from the Woodland Thanks stamp set with watermark ink and heat embossed with gold and white embossing powders. The thankful sentiment has it’s coordinating die, which is really cool. I love when the scripty sentiments have their coordinating dies. I also stamped the “wishes” word from the Holiday Scripts stamp set with dark brown ink.
In the end I styled my card and put the pieces together with 3D foam squares and liquid adhesive. Thank you so much for joining me for today, I wish you a peaceful autumn day.
